Armored Talk hiatus
Many of you know that for the most part Armored Talk is a one-man show. While this means you get a consistent viewpoint (other than guest contributions), it also comes with a downside. I can’t be in many places at once, no matter how ard I try.
With some major life changes (don’t worry, they are overall good) and having had 6+ months of frenzied activity in Armored Talk and Armored Warfare taking up a LOT of time, I find myself in a position of needing to take care of a few things.
So with the new year approaching and a few weeks of intermittent internet access coming up in January I am sorry to report to you that Armored Talk will be taking a bit of a break. Part fun (as in vacation), part work (bills you know), and part recharging my batteries to get ready for 2016. I think we will see a lot of changes coming to Armored Warfare in 2016, and I even think this summer will see the release of the game. No insider knowledge there, just bits and pieces put together and a 100% pure guess on my part.
I have heard about some of the potential upcoming changes to Armored Warfare from various sources, and they do sound quite intriguing. A couple of these may take awhile to get used to, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. 2016 should be a good year for Armored Warfare!
BTW, don’t take this break to be a guarantee there will be no posts for the next few weeks. I hope to sporadically check in, but I am not sure how often that will be. If there is something major in Armored Warfare land I’ll be sure to pop back, but I am fairly comfortable in assuming Armored Warfare stuff will be slow over the next several weeks anyway. The next patch isn’t until mid to late January and the teams at the three companies are also dealing with what many other companies are dealing with this time of year (vacations and such). So it seems a good time.
Patreon supporters, your support occurs the first of every month so I was sure to set that to “none” instead of “monthly” so you don’t get a charge. Wouldn’t make sense to receive your support while I was taking a break after all!!!
I’m looking forward to catching you all up in a few weeks, and as I mentioned above … don’t be surprised if I pop back in during this interlude. You never know when there will be a haunting. 😉
